Thank bejizzle!!! My redundancy money has finally come through!! Oh hallelujah! Seriously this could not have come at a better time! I was getting worried for a moment because I saw all my ex employees receiving theirs and I hadn’t even heard back from the insolvency company yet. Well needless to say 98% of it has gone into paying bills and credit, but hey, its now a huge weight off my shoulders! Thank you insolvency company for being as quick as you could be! 🙂
This was absolutely hilarious! I didn’t think dogs actually did this!! I just thought it was a Disney thing in 101 Dalmatians. However, I kid you not, Oscar our Boston Terrier puppy sat there and watched TV with me for a good 45 minutes!! I even have a video of it, but am way too lazy at this time of night to post it. I wonder what he found so facisnating. The first thing we watched together today while I ate was a fat man climbing a hill. The second thing was a Grand Designs programme about a couple that bought an immense house in the booneylands of France. Then of course we fell asleep together for 20 mins (watching the shows) and then went out to play fetch, which he recently learned 😀 Does anyone else’s dog watch TV as well? And if so, does he/she have a favourite programme? 😀
Welcome. Say Hello to Tupla. The worlds most delicious chocolate bar.. ever. With a delicious soft middle with light nuts coating the outside and then further dipped in chocolate. Mmmmmmmmmm! I am so addicted to these. My sister and I always have to sneakily either steal some from one another, get our mom to bring us a bag full, or then fly to Finland ourselves just to stock up on them. We even have a thing where we go “Isosisko verot” or “Pikkuveli verot”, which basically means we are taxing each other for being each others siblings. And the price of that tax? A bite of Tupla! Just had another one today from my dwindling supply and my lord… ahhh, they are just SO DAMN GOOD! I HAVE to start importing these to the UK. These and Lonkero (tell you about those later).. I’d be a millionaire. Where do I learn the import trade from I wonder? Thank heavens I’m going back to Finland this Friday to celebrate Summer solstice and for my fix of all things Finnish! ❤
I’ve probably seen this movie 35 times already and I still love it! Was playing on TV today whilst hungover and half way to death and I mean, really, it’s just such a great movie! Put Goldie Hawn, Bette Midler, Diane Keaton, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Maggie Smith all together and you get pure genius! This movie has even made it into my everyday “inside joke” life with a few of my best friends. Really brought back memories and good times 😀 I miss Goldie and her comical ways 😛 Time for bed though and cuddle time with Oscar. And remember guys… “Don’t get mad, get everything!” 😛
What could be a better way to spend a saturday than to watch French Baguettes, Spanish Chorizo, a bit of Swedish Meat Balls, British Bangers, and German Wurst ride on by in the middle of London in Piccadilly Circus? (Or should I say Pick-a-D*** Circus today) 😀 In case you didn’t know, today was World Naked Bike Ride Day today in London. Meaning people got together to say no to fossil fuels, and yes to bikes 🙂 Was such a great atmosphere! Music, laughter, waves, smiles, just all around a good fun time, whilst supporting a very important cause in this world of ours! Well, whatever you feel about it… It made me smile and laugh and want to do it myself in the future! 😀 And hey, why not admire what God created as well 😉
Ok, so I come home and think to myself when I get to the kitchen table “ouuhhh shiiinnyyy! Is it a real gold coin?? What is it??” And when I finally get close enough to inspect it – I burst out laughing. I mean.. what the heck? WHAT is this coin?! How did it get to our house and onto our dinner table?! Lol!! For those of short sight it says “Gnomeland Devonia Gnold”. I do remember saying I wanted to win the lottery today at work, but I think the universe somehow misheard me. Lol. Seriously I still cant stop laughing every time I look at that coin. WHERE did it come from?! Gnold from Gnomeland?? Really? I somehow have a feeling my sister has been to our house and is filming me as we speak watching me inspecting this coin. LOL! 😀 😀
Awww this was just too sweet not to post and make me smile! I’m happy to admit I’m strange, and I probably do have a weird little heart, and It’s a good reminder not to be ashamed of what makes that weird little heart happy ❤ I have so many things on that list and I’m so proud they are in my life! It’s something to always strive for no matter what you do in life. If it makes you happy, do it, keep it, hold on to it, and make it last! Because at the end of the day, thats all we have.
After I heard about Tracy Morgan’s accident I started to slowly watch some clips of 30 Rock online again. And my God… Did I forget how hilarious it really was?! Oh Tina you comedy genius you! I still don’t remember what show I actually really literally burst out laughing at random parts as much as I did watching 30 Rock. Definitely have to re-watch this show at some point! 😀 😀 Wait, whats that I hear. It’s almost like a faint whisper in my ear.. something about balls.. balls, balls… balls-balls-balls? And..and… muffins? What was that.. muffin tops? Are all that? .. whole grain, low fat! ❤ Hmm… must be my mind going a bit kookoo.
Our wee baby Boston Terrier, Oscar, is now officially at that awkward stage where he doesn’t fit an XS harness, but isn’t big enough for a S harness… so what did I do? I bought him a new collar! It’s huge as well, but its so cute and finally makes him look like a boy! Its a leather collar with little bones all over it, so cute! And yes, of course I got him a harness as well 😛 He’ll grow into it 😀 Next thing we need to get him used to is a winter coat, lol!
Theres a reason I loved reading Dr. Seuss as a kid. You never really realise how much wisdom those books held in them, until later in life. This popped up today and It really couldn’t have come at a better time or come on a better day 🙂 Reminded me that all is good and well 🙂 We could all do with a bit more of Dr. Seuss in our lives.
